The City of Denison seeks a Part-Time Read-to-Win Specialist to promote early literacy among preschoolers in library, schools, and childcare settings. You will deliver engaging literacy sessions, track attendance, and assist in materials selection while collaborating with the youth services team.

The Part-Time Read-to-Win Specialist is a highly visible and responsible position focused on promoting early literacy skills in preschool children. The position involves developing and maintaining positive relationships with educators and administrators in schools and preschools in the community. Duties include delivering age-appropriate, early literacy programs to children in a high-energy, fast-paced environment in the library, preschools, and childcare facilities; keeping accurate records of numbers related to these programs; assisting in selection and ordering of Read to Win books and materials; and working collaboratively with children’s team to plan in-house programs and events.
This position is totally funded by grants. In the event adequate funding is not received, this position may be terminated until such time as funds are received.
