Qualifications

• Current Ohio RDH license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and periodontal charting.
• Provide prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and preventive dental treatments.
• Take digital radiographs in accordance with Ohio regulations.
• Screen patients for periodontal disease, oral disease, and oral cancer.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive dental care.
• Document patient findings and maintain accurate electronic dental records.
• Collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Build positive relationships with patients while providing compassionate, high-quality care.
• Support a positive and collaborative team environment.
