Job summary

Children's Specialized ABA in New Jersey is hiring a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for children with ASD, helping them improve communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

You will collaborate with a BCBA and care team, with paid training for certification and ongoing supervision. The role offers in-home or clinic-based sessions and growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years and high school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification is preferred but not required; training provided.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes within 30 miles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in-home or clinic-based settings.
• Implement behavior acquisition and reduction plans.
• Use electronic tools to conduct preference assessments and track data.
• Collaborate in clinical meetings with supervision from a BCBA.
• Maintain program books and develop teaching materials.
• Communicate progress to parents and caregivers.
• Provide basic care as needed (e.g., toileting, eating).
