Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in Tampa, FL. This is a part-time role (9-15 hours per week) with Medicaid credentials preferred, and opportunities for educational and training support to advance toward BCBA certification.

Role involves implementing ABA-based plans under BCBA supervision, recording progress, handling challenging behaviors, and helping children develop communication, social, and self-care skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Active RBT Certification with Medicaid Credentials.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Possess a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
• Experience with children is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Observe, record, and report client progress and behavior daily.
• Manage challenging behaviors.
• Apply behavioral principles consistently during interactions.
• Assist clients to acquire academic or life skills as needed.
• Communicate professionally with parents, analysts, and clients.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete daily data entry.
