Job summary

Magical Moments ABA is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct client care in both one-on-one and group settings. The role involves collecting data, maintaining a supportive environment, and collaborating with BCBA/BCaBA staff to implement plans. Requires RBT certification and 18+ years old.

The position offers flexible scheduling and ongoing professional development to support families and clients receiving ABA therapy.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• 6+ months of ABA experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of general ABA practices.
• At least 18+ years of age.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the treatment plan by BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach.
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families.
• Collaborate with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and professionals for program implementation.
• Take direction and feedback from supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA).
• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations.
• Accurately record appointments daily and comply with billing and payroll policies.
• Ensure patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding progress and interventions.
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on progress.
