Job summary

Strides ABA in Congers, NY, is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy and support to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. You will work closely with our BCBA team to implement individualized treatment plans and collect data on progress.

The role emphasizes hands-on client care, ongoing training, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to kneel, sit, stand, and move around frequently during sessions.
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation (for community and in-home services).
• Clean background check required for working with children and families.
• Part-time availability (hours will vary).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with BCBA/BCBAs.
• Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and outcomes.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and organized therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices.
