Job summary

Evolve ABA Care in McKinney, TX seeks a part-time Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children, supporting development in communication, self-help, and behavior reduction goals under BCBA supervision.

Paid training and supervision hours for BCBA-pathway students are included. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with 25 hours per week. RBT certification is required and a bachelor’s-focused background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 5-12 in a 1:1 setting.
• Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree or relevant coursework in child development, special education, psychology, or a related field.
• RBT Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy during individual sessions.
• Implement ABA interventions (DTT, PECS, NET) for children in a 1:1 home setting.
• Assist the supervising BCBA in implementing individualized goals and checklists.
• Carry out the treatment plan as directed by the BCBA, addressing self-help, living skills and language development.
• Support parent and caregiver training per treatment and behavior protocols.
• Collect and graph data as instructed.
• Maintain client confidentiality and PHI in accordance with HIPAA.
