Job summary

Envoy Air Inc. at Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport is hiring an entry-level Ramp Agent. You will load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage to help maintain on-time departures and arrivals, while enjoying paid on-the-job training and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• 18 years or older.
• Possess a valid, unexpired REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or travel authorization as required.
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage in a safe manner to support on-time departures and arrivals.
• No need for a gym membership; you’ll get a workout by lifting luggage during shifts.
• Operate in company vehicles on the tarmac to get bags to their destination.
• Work outside in all weather conditions as a Ramp Agent.
• Shifts vary and may include irregular/extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

What you will be doing!

• Load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage in a safe manner while also achieving on-time departures and arrivals.
• No need for a gym membership as you will be getting your workout in by lifting luggage throughout your shift.
• Ability to cruise on the tarmac in our company vehicles while getting the bags to their destination.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
• 18 years or older.
• Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver’s license; or otherwise maintain all necessary authority and identification to travel for business needs as required; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role.
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in U.S. without sponsorship.
