Part Time Radiology Scheduler - Middletown, NY

Join our team as a Part Time Radiology Scheduler at Optum in Middletown, NY. This role involves supporting the radiology department by scheduling procedures, verifying patient information, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Schedule & Location

20-hour work week, Monday through Friday, with hours between 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and rotating Saturdays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Location: 95 Crystal Run Road, First Floor Suite 103, Middletown, NY 10941.

Primary Responsibilities

• Obtain and update patient information
• Perform insurance verification
• Schedule radiology procedures efficiently
• Maintain medical records and documentation
• Answer calls promptly and courteously
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up services
• Support team goals and adhere to policies
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and OSHA standards
• Assist in other locations as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1+ years customer service or healthcare experience
• Intermediate computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to travel between offices

Preferred:

• Experience in medical front office roles
• Experience with electronic health records (EPIC)
• Knowledge of radiology and medical terminology

Compensation & Benefits
