Job summary

BJC HealthCare is hiring a Part-Time OR Advanced Modality Technologist for Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on imaging support in the operating room with some floor, ED, or portable imaging as needed.

New grads and experienced Radiologic Technologists are welcome. 24 hours per week with benefits, Mon & Wed shifts, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - RT(R).

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced modality (CT/MRI/Interventional) on adults and/or pediatric patients.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures and operates in OR or portable settings as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
