Job summary

Massasoit Community College in Brockton, MA seeks an Adjunct Faculty member for Radiologic Technology (Positioning Lab) to deliver laboratory instruction to undergraduates. or B.S. in related health sciences, 2 years RT work experience, and 1 year teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Associate in Science or Bachelor of Science in related health sciences.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in a college/university or teaching hospital environment.
• In-depth understanding of Radiographic Positioning and imaging, including ARRT/ASRT/JRCERT guidelines.
• Commitment to community college mission and student success.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and interact with students, faculty, administration, and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver laboratory and/or experiential instruction in Radiographic Positioning and imaging.
• Coordinate multiple students in the lab simultaneously.
• Teach Radiographic Positioning and imaging techniques including normal and disease protocols.
• Provide syllabus with objectives, outcomes, teaching method, attendance, readings, assignments and evaluation criteria.
• Create engaging assignments demonstrating real-world applications.
• Support diversity and inclusion in curriculum and co-curricular experiences.
• Use the College LMS to post syllabus, assignments and materials and communicate with students.
• Advise and assist students through office hours, videoconference, phone or email.
• Extra duties may be assigned by supervisor.
• Contribute to the Commonwealth's Equity Agenda in all job functions.
