Job summary

Fidelity Partners is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for FCI Berlin in Berlin, New Hampshire. This on-site, part-time position (0.2 FTE) supports the Federal Bureau of Prisons Health Services Department with diagnostic radiography for incarcerated patients, requiring accurate image acquisition and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Must maintain ARRT certification or credential; New Hampshire licensure preferred and maintained when applicable.
• Must have at least three years of qualifying radiologic-technology experience.
• Must maintain CPR certification through AHA or ARC.
• Must be capable of independently performing required radiographic procedures; knowledge of GE Sedecal X Plus LP Plus equipment is preferred but not required.
• Must provide proof of insurability and report any credentialing/licensing actions.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks and satisfy health/security/orientation requirements.
• Must be available to begin within 30 days after contract award.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic radiologic procedures ordered by medical staff (chest, bone, skull, spine, portable, and other exams).
• Assess and prepare patients, explain procedures, position appropriately, and obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Recognize radiographic abnormalities and notify radiologist or physician as needed.
• Retrieve requisitions, schedule examinations, maintain logs, records, and documentation.
• Transmit and retrieve images/reports electronically and coordinate transfer of radiologic records.
• Prepare radiographic studies for interpretation and coordinate image transport for continuity of care.
• Conduct QA testing and daily equipment maintenance; support inspections and program reviews.
• Follow radiation-safety practices and maintain readiness for emergencies.
• Coordinate with Clinical Director, medical staff, radiologist, and Health Services Administrator.
• Maintain confidentiality of clinical documentation and patient information.
• Report violations or credentialing actions through established channels.
