Job summary

MedStar Health in Baltimore is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist II to perform diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy with focus on safety and quality. You will support imaging services for patients of all ages, maintain equipment, and participate in quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs per physician specs and protocols.
• Provide diagnostic imaging services for patients of all ages while maintaining radiation safety and quality.
• Support invasive procedures in the OR using a C-Arm and/or O-Arm.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, patient experience, quality, and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and prepare patient rooms and supplies.
• Communicate with patients to obtain medical history and explain procedures.
• Document care activities in EHR and distribute final images to PACS for interpretation.
• Adhere to SPIRIT values and ARRT Ethics standards in daily practice.
