Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray imaging for trauma, inpatients and outpatients. You will work with a Radiology team to deliver high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include imaging across departments, verifying patient details, and maintaining equipment and documentation in RIS/PACS, with opportunities for growth in a collaborative, inclusive hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Two years post-high school training in radiologic technology required.
• Knowledge of diagnostic radiology practices and radiologic equipment essential.
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain before start.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology studies with proper positioning and exposure.
• Ensure safety, comfort, and patient identifiers for all exams.
• Document exams in Radiology Information System and PACS.
