Job summary

Broward College invites applications for a part-time teaching position in Radiologic Technology. The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, be a Certified Radiologic Technologist with Florida CRT and ARRT, and CPR AED certified.

Two years of clinical experience and two years of post-secondary teaching in a JRCERT program are required. Strong computer literacy and dedication to educating under-prepared students are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist is required.
• Florida licensure (CRT) and ARRT certification are required.
• CPR AED Certification is required.
• Two years’ clinical experience in professional discipline is required.
• Two years post-secondary teaching experience in a JRCERT accredited program is required.
• Prior college teaching experience is preferred.
• High level of computer literacy and commitment to teaching is essential.
• All schedules require office hours and may require evening/weekend hours.

• Employ teaching methods accommodating various levels of academic preparation and use technology across modalities.
• Engage needs of different learners with responsive pedagogical techniques.
• Examine and adapt instructional practices to support students.
• Engage in student consultation, course preparation, and syllabus-review.
• Provide prompt and constructive feedback via office hours and emails.
• Adhere to reporting deadlines and participate in college service.
