Job summary

University Hospitals in Amherst, OH is seeking a Radiographer to deliver safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging while guiding patients through their experience.

You will work with physicians and care teams, adhere to ALARA and HIPAA, perform a range of radiology procedures, and maintain equipment and records. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, ongoing education, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R certification required upon hire; Ohio RT license.
• Previous X-ray technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of radiological procedures with high patient care standards.
• Adhere to ALARA, safety standards, HIPAA, and department SOPs.
• Maintain equipment quality control and accurate billing codes in RIS.
• Educate and supervise students and new staff after 1 year.
