Job summary

The US Oncology Network is seeking a Radiation Therapy Assistant Float to work part-time in the Las Vegas, NV area. You will support radiation therapy treatments, assist the Radiation Therapist, and help prepare blocking devices and treatment simulations for patients under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and healthcare exposure; prior exposure to radiation therapy is a plus. The role involves front-office duties, equipment checks, and travel between treatment sites

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year medical/healthcare experience required.
• Prior experience with radiation therapy principles and block fabrication preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture cerrobend blocks with proper labeling.
• Assist in setup of radiation therapy treatments and simulations.
• Maintain QA standards via diagnostic equipment checks.
• Assist with front office duties including film acquisition and records.
• Perform courier services to transfer patient information.
• Assist in manufacturing patient molds/treatment devices.
• Assist in maintaining medical supply inventories.
