Job summary

Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in Hong Kong Island is seeking a Contract Part-time Resident Radiation Therapist. You will work within the Department of Clinical Oncology to deliver radiotherapy services as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants should hold a Radiography (Therapy) degree, be registered as a Radiographer (Therapeutic), and possess good English and Cantonese communication, empathy, and patient care skills.

Qualifications

• A degree in Radiography (Therapy) from a local university or equivalent.
• Be a registered Part I or Part II Radiographer (Therapeutic) and have a valid Practising Certificate under the Allied Health Professions Ordinance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and verify basic treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (including Simulation & CT Simulation).
• Deliver basic radiotherapy and monitor patients’ reactions and treatment compliance.
• Participate in RT students’ clinical teaching.
