Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital is seeking a part-time Radiation Therapist in Radiation Oncology. The role supports treatment delivery, prepares rooms, positions patients, and assists in simulation and planning.

Requires ARRT certification or registry-eligibility within 6 months, a Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a radiologic technology program with radiation therapy training, and BLS certification. Experience: 3 months preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or completion of a radiologic technology program with radiation therapy training.
• ARRT certification in radiation therapy required or registry-eligible within 6 months.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Review treatment records for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with physicians, physics/dosimetry, and staff during treatment.
• Prepare treatment room and equipment and explain procedures to patients.
• Position patients according to procedures and monitor during treatment.
• Assist in simulation, planning, and imaging (CBCT/portal) as needed.
• Schedule treatments and simulations in Aria.
• Ensure equipment safety interlocks and report malfunctions.
