Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.5| Part Time | Primarily Mon - Fri / 8AM - 5PM - Pacific Standard Time | Remote work available for experienced candidates

For the Epic Analyst positions, wage is based on years of relevant experience as well as the level of the position. Depending upon a candidate's qualifications, we may hire at the Associate level, the Analyst level, or the Senior Analyst level. Details on the qualifications for each level are noted below.

Salary Ranges per Level:

  • Associate Epic Analyst: $28.94 - $43.40 hourly
  • Epic Analyst: $33.91 - $50.87 hourly
  • Senior Epic Analyst: $39.92 - $59.87 hourly

PLEASE NOTE: This can be a remote position. If considered, candidates will be required to have reliable broadband internet and personal cell phone service. Remote work may include working day-to-day operations during Pacific Standard business hours or online training. This position will be expected to take 24/7 on-call support for a week at a time in rotation with the other members of the team. On-call rotation will begin when the staff member and Team Lead feel the level of skill has been achieved to triage and support end user critical needs.

Position Summary

The Epic Analyst designs, analyzes, develops, tests, implements, and/or provides tier two technical assistance of assigned system applications. In this role, the Epic Analyst consults with Epic representatives, application coordinators, supervisors and end users to configure and build Epic software and applications to meet organizational and client needs; troubleshoots problems, offers solutions and recommends a course of action to address the issues and needs of the end user and to achieve client and/or hospital specifications for Epic applications; and develops and modifies procedures to solve complex data processing problems and/or prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.

Please Note: This position is for the Epic Radiant Team and prior experience as a Cupid, OpTime, Radiant analyst is preferred for experienced candidates and general imaging, cath lab, cardiology, or surgery is desired for associate level candidates.

To be considered for this position, qualified applicants will need to take and pass a proprietary assessment developed by Epic Systems Corporation if not already Epic Certified in a clinical build application.

Position Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent in education and/or experience is required for Analyst and Sr. Analyst level.
  • Associate degree or equivalent required for the Associate Epic Analyst level.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of healthcare related experience in the area(s) of direct patient care, medical records, patient registration, scheduling, claims and/or information technology within a hospital or clinic, or the equivalent in education and experience, is required for Analyst level.
  • 1 year required for the Associate Epic Analyst level.
  • 5 years required for Sr. Analyst level.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • Working experience in a healthcare environment such as healthcare operations, clinical areas, or information services, preferred.
  • Experience with programming, system analysis, configuration, system implementation, and/or application support, preferred.
  • Knowledge of the systems lifecycle, client-server technologies, clinical workflows and PC application support, preferred.
  • Experience with Visio, preferred.

Certifications

  • The Senior Analyst is required to hold at least two Epic Certifications/Accreditations/Proficiencies across applications.
  • The Epic Analyst and Associate Epic Analyst will be required to obtain Epic Proficiency within 3 months of hire.
  • Will be required to complete annual Epic recertification requirements (all levels).
