Comprehensive Pain Consultants of the Carolinas (CPC) in Asheville, NC is seeking a Part-time Rad Tech to join our growing practice. The Rad Tech will perform radiographic exams, with proper positioning and processing, in accordance with regulatory and departmental requirements.

Ideal candidates will hold a Radiologic Technology degree, NC X-ray License, ARRT certification, and BLS, with strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety.

Qualifikationen

• Performs timely radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Performs necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed.
• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and follows established clinical and regulatory procedures regarding patient safety and care, including proper radiation protection, and shielding techniques.
• Ensures that equipment is in proper working order and reports any malfunctions to the Manager or provider on duty.
• Follows documentation procedures and completes required documentation related to patient visit in a timely manner.
• Assumes responsibility for maintaining and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with the support and assistance of outside educational resources.
• Responsible for maintaining current licensure and certification for the facility radiology equipment and licensure.
• Must be able demonstrate appropriate clinical judgment and apply professional skills to a patient population of all ages.
