Job summary

H&K Group, Inc. seeks a Part Time 2nd Shift Floating Weighmaster at its Skippack area quarries. You will weigh trucks, tally material, issue slips, and dispatch loads to production areas while following MSHA and company safety policies.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a State Weighmaster's license, and strong communication skills, with basic Microsoft Office proficiency and reliable transportation to regional quarries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• State Weighmaster's license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Reliable transportation to travel to regional quarries.

Responsibilities

• Performs all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies.
• Weighs trucks loaded with crushed stone and/or asphalt products and issues weigh slips to drivers.
• Keeps track of material totals to different jobs.
• Computes and records totals of tallied figures.
• Examines and sorts items tallied.
• Moves tallied items to storage, shipping, or production areas.
• Takes orders from contractors and private customers for crushed stone.
• Dispatches truck to job sites.
• Communicates with material suppliers, laborers, operators, and supervisors with job concerns.
• Provides excellent customer service with a positive attitude to both internal and external customers.
• Keeps track of traffic and weather conditions affecting schedules.
• Monitors petty cash.
• Other duties as assigned
