Job summary

SafeBox is seeking a skilled QA Engineer for a part-time role in Akron, Ohio. The candidate will design and execute test plans, identify and report bugs, and collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality software.

Experience with manual testing of web and mobile apps is required, along with familiarity with agile methodologies and bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla. Automation exposure with Selenium or Appium is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with manual testing of web applications or mobile apps.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Working knowledge of bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software applications.
• Identify bugs and issues in software and report them to the development team.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure previous bugs have been fixed.
• Document and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Participate in the design and development of automated testing processes.
