Food Lion is seeking a Retail Associate to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment. You will ensure friendly, accurate service and help keep Produce, Market, and Deli areas clean and organized.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. This on-site role requires flexibility for various tasks and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a clean, safe, and inviting shopping experience.
• Offer fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers.
• Sweep and clean floors during nights without vendor services.
• Weekly cleaning of Produce, Market and Deli departments.
• Follow QA daily checklists and sanitation standards.
