Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Be courteous and helpful to fellow associates.
• Sweep and clean floors during shifts with no vendor services.
• Perform weekly cleaning of Produce, Market and Deli areas.
• Keep the mop room clean and organized.
• Identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Adhere to QA checks and Food Lion sanitation standards.
• Follow safety guidelines for hazardous waste cleanup.
• Adhere to company policies and standard practices.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions.
• Report accidents per Food Lion procedures to the Manager on Duty.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge and neat appearance.
• Complete required CBT and training courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
