Job summary

Carmondean Primary School and nursery ELC in Livingston is hiring two part‑time Pupil Support Workers to join the nursery team. Posts are fixed term until 15 August 2027, with 2x 16 hours per week across a 50‑week setting, supporting child development and learning experiences.

You will work with a forward‑thinking team to deliver high‑quality interactions, promote curiosity, and provide inclusive support within a welcoming learning environment. PVG/SSSC compliance is required.

Qualifications

• This post requires registration with the SSSC.
• Candidates must obtain SSSC registration within six months of start date.
• PVG Scheme Update check is required prior to employment; the cost will be met by the candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality interactions and learning experiences for individual children.
• Support the provision of a high‑quality learning environment in Carmondean ELC and nursery.
• Work as part of the ELC team to promote curiosity, creativity and development.
