Qualifications

• Safe operation of transit vehicles as per policies and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate GCTD transit vehicles according to laws and policies.
• Pickup/drop-off passengers following routes and schedules.
• Assist passengers, including those with disabilities, boarding and exiting vehicles.
• Operate wheelchair lifts, ramps, and securement equipment.
• Perform pre-, en-route, and post-trip inspections and document properly.
• Record fares per procedures and report incidents promptly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and communicate with dispatch throughout the day.
• Attend meetings, safety briefings, and training as required.
• Provide professional, courteous service to passengers and staff.
• Support other departments as assigned.
