The City of Boca Raton seeks a part-time Business System Analyst to support enterprise business applications across City departments. You will plan, design, analyze, implement, configure, integrate, and manage various computer systems for continuity of service.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in IT/CS, 3+ years in application administration, and experience with workflow tools like SharePoint and Laserfiche, plus relevant IT certifications. On-site role with occasional pre-offer checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in application administration for a large organization.
• One (1) year of experience in business process management workflows using tools such as SharePoint, Laserfiche, or similar workflow software.
• One (1) or more IT certifications in areas such as business process design, data science, security, cloud computing, project management, and/or Oracle.

Responsabilités

• Implements systems and leads development efforts for continuous improvement including system updates, upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.
• Acts as liaison between IT and assigned department; attends staff meetings and manages multiple projects.
• Works with departments to create electronic forms and business workflow solutions to improve efficiency.
• Develops and documents business requirements and project plans; participates in ERP and assesses future departmental needs.
• Configures environments, performs system upgrades, maintains security of systems, and manages interfaces to/from other computer systems.
• Manages Cloud Application infrastructure and coordinates testing with third-party vendors on software upgrades.
