The position involves managing access, patrolling, and reporting hazards while delivering professional customer service. A valid HS diploma or GED, calm demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must work independently and stay calm in stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance during shift.

• Able to respond to emergencies with rapid judgment and escalation when needed.
• Must pass pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.
• CPR, AED, and Safe Driver certification preferred.
• 1 year of Military, Security, or Public Safety experience.

Responsibilities

Wage: $23.00/HR

Schedule: Fri: 1630 - 1830; 2200 - 0600

The Public Safety Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• CPR, AED, and Safe Driver certified.
