Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited physical therapy program.
• State licensure exam completed.
• PTA license valid and current.
• 1 year home health experience preferred.
• AHA CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid auto insurance.
• HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation under supervision.
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatment and report progress to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and use of assistive devices and strategies to prevent injury.
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment with properly sanitized equipment.
