Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine seeks a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant in California to provide direct clinical care under a supervising Physical Therapist. You will support therapists and patients, guiding exercises, home programs, and patient education to advance rehabilitation and injury prevention.

The role focuses on orthopedics and workplace wellness with flexible hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active California PTA license or license in progress.
• BLS certification required.
• Excellent time management and ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of physical therapy office management systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute plan of care and follow-up treatment visits.
• Instruct and counsel patients in exercises and home programs.
• Maintain open communication with patient, supervising therapist, and physician.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Assist patients with exercises, functional activities, and mobility aids.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report changes.
