Job summary

South Pacific Rehab Services in California is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our hospital and acute care teams on a part-time basis.

Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will deliver therapy, identify appropriate patients, document care, and coordinate referrals while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to apply (state licensure required).
• Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program.
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
