Job summary

Qualifications

• CAPTE-accredited two-year Associate Degree required.
• Current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania licensure/certification.
• Competency in therapy treatment principles, techniques, materials and equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Proficient in navigating electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Assist PTs in implementing aquatic and fall prevention program.
• Carry out treatment goals and plans established by the PT.
• Provide posture, strengthening, endurance, balance, coordination, joint mobility and muscle-lengthening exercises.
• Instruct patients in prescribed equipment use and home exercise programs.
• Prepare daily clinical notes and routine progress reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical records and facility information.
• Maintain accurate billing information per facility procedures.
• Support staff and family education through in-services and consultations.
