Job summary

Sports Rehab PT is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapy Technician to support licensed therapists in outpatient orthopedics. You will prepare patients and treatment areas, assist with exercises, and help maintain a safe, efficient therapy environment.

This role offers hands-on clinical experience, a collaborative team, and flexible hours at Weatherford, Decatur, and Willow Park locations. CPR/BLS is preferred, and a passion for patient care is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interest in healthcare, physical therapy, or patient care.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision of licensed staff.
• Professional, dependable, and punctual.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team.
• Comfortable assisting patients with exercises and equipment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with equipment and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous support to patients throughout their visit.
• Prepare patients, treatment areas, and equipment for physical therapy sessions.
• Assist licensed physical therapists with implementing established treatment plans.
• Guide patients through exercises under supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Monitor patients during activities and report concerns to the therapist.
• Maintain patient flow and ensure sessions run on schedule.
• Clean, disinfect, organize, and maintain equipment and areas.
• Perform administrative or clinic support duties as assigned.
