Job summary

Thrive Proactive Health in Virginia Beach is hiring a Part-Time PT Rehab Aide + Restorative Fitness Coach / Personal Trainer to support both our physical therapy team and fitness programs. This role blends rehab and fitness, with mentorship from sport and spine therapists and opportunities to grow clinically.

You’ll work 10-20+ hours weekly, lead mobility and movement sessions, cue exercises, and help with clinic flow while upholding HIPAA and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in biomechanics, anatomy, rehab-informed training, and restorative fitness.
• Willingness to learn Postural Restoration concepts.
• Ability to balance fitness coaching with clinical rehab support.

Responsibilities

• Support physical therapy sessions under licensed clinicians.
• Cue exercises, monitor form, guide patients through prescribed programs.
• Assist with clinic flow, transitions, and customer experience.
• Open/close procedures, equipment setup, and clinic readiness.
• Uphold HIPAA and professional standards.
• Design and deliver programs for private, semi-private, and small-group clients.
• Perform movement screenings to guide programming.
• Build client relationships and support goal achievement.
