Job summary

Thrive Proactive Health is an independently owned outpatient practice in Virginia Beach seeking a Physical Therapist. You will work in a multidisciplinary setting including chiropractic, acupuncture, massage therapy, and fitness, with a focus on whole-person assessment and movement. Flexibility for part-time or full-time schedules is offered.

We emphasize clinical reasoning, patient outcomes, and continuous education while supporting mentorship and growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Hold an active or eligible Virginia Physical Therapist license.
• Interest in outpatient orthopedics, sport, spine and movement care.
• Value evidence-based plans of care and measurable goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations for assigned patients.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care with measurable goals.
• Deliver skilled PT interventions and monitor progress.
• Document accurately and maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with PTAs, ATCs and the rehab team to optimize outcomes.
• Communicate clearly with patients, caregivers and referring providers.
• Support continuity of care and positive patient experience.
