St. Catherine of Siena Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school in Wixom, Michigan, is seeking a dynamic and qualified Part-Time Psychology Teacher for the upcoming academic year. Our mission is to inspire young women to discover and develop their feminine genius—their unique identity and gifts as women created in the image of God.

The ideal candidate is passionate about psychology and excited to teach in a Catholic, faith-based environment that values the integration of faith and reason. Responsibilities include teaching introductory and advanced psychology courses and fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and personal growth. This is a part-time position with potential for expanded responsibilities as the school grows.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements (CE)
• Experience teaching psychology at high school or college level
• 3+ years of relevant teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Deep understanding of psychological concepts and their practical application
• Ability to design engaging lessons that incorporate Catholic moral and ethical perspectives
• Familiarity with AP Psychology curriculum is a plus
• Willingness to collaborate on developing the school's social science curriculum
• Enthusiasm for student-centered and inquiry-based learning
• Proficiency with educational technology (e.g., Google Workspace, online platforms)
• Flexible, collaborative, and supportive of a dynamic high school environment
