About Us:

Midwest Counseling and Diagnostic Center is a well-established group practice providing compassionate, client-centered care to individuals seeking mental health support. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming, and collaborative environment for both our clients and staff. We are expanding our team and are currently seeking a fully licensed psychologist, social worker, or professional counselor to join our Ohio practice on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a licensed psychologist, clinical social worker, or professional counselor to provide therapeutic services for 5-15hours per week. This role offers the flexibility of part-time hours with the potential to grow into a full-time position as you build your caseload. As part of our group practice, you will receive robust support from a team of professionals and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual therapy and counseling services to clients using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address client needs.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive, holistic care for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

Qualifications:

  • Fully licensed as a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or equivalent in the state of Ohio. Psychologists with a PsyPACT license are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of independent clinical experience, including working with diverse populations.
  • Experience with therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and others is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.
  • Ability to work independently, managing a flexible caseload effectively.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Professional liability insurance required.
