Job summary

The Psychiatric Institute of Washington, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a licensed clinical psychologist to provide group and individual psychotherapy for adults, supervise trainees, and consult with clinical leadership. This is a part-time role with benefits and PTO.

Responsibilities include evaluations, psychotherapy services, supervising externs/fellows, and coordinating with the treatment team. COVID vaccination is required unless approved for accommodation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Must be a licensed clinical psychologist in Washington, D.C.
• Experience providing psychological services to patients with severe mental illness, including group leadership.
• Experience supervising psychology trainees.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise psychological evaluations.
• Supervise group therapy interventions and psychological assessments.
• Provide psychotherapy services to assigned patients, including brief sessions.
• Supervise psychology externs and post-doctoral fellows.
• Lead group psychotherapy and review progress notes for accuracy.
