Job summary

New U Therapy Center & Family Services is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Psychologist to provide individual, couple, and family therapy at our Valencia Office. The clinician will manage a caseload of about 24 clients, deliver in-person and telehealth services, and maintain required documentation in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

The role emphasizes building therapeutic relationships, maintaining 20 billable hours weekly, and contributing to a supportive clinical culture while working

Qualifications

  • Doctor’s degree in psychology or a related field from an accredited school.
  • Active CA BBS Clinical license of Psychologist (PsyD/PhD)
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in outpatient mental health/ private practice
  • Strong commitment to building therapeutic relationships and achieving meaningful outcomes for clients.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Desire to grow within a private clinic organization

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality in-person and telehealth psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and/or families based on clinical needs and treatment plans.
  • Maintain an assigned caseload of approximately 24 clients while providing consistent, patient-centered care.
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 billable clinical hours per week while balancing quality of care and documentation.
  • Collaborate with psychiatric staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals through open consultation and coordinated patient care.
  • Complete timely, accurate and clinically sound documentation.
  • Participate in peer case consultations, clinical discussions and trainings for professional development.
  • Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, mutual respect and inclusion while supporting a compassionate environment.

What You’ll Do:
Provide Psychotherapy Services
  • Provide high-quality in-person and telehealth psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and/or families based on clinical needs and treatment plans.
Manage Assigned Caseload
  • Maintain an assigned caseload of approximately 24 clients while providing consistent, patient-centered care and maintaining appropriate clinical availability.
Meet Clinical Productivity Expectations
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 billable clinical hours per week while balancing quality of care, documentation, and other clinical responsibilities.
Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatric staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals through open consultation, communication, and coordinated patient care.
Maintain Clinical Documentation
  • Complete timely, accurate, and clinically sound documentation in accordance with organizational policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations.
Participate in Peer Consultation and Team Learning
  • Participate in peer case consultations, clinical discussions, trainings, and team-based learning opportunities to support continued professional development and clinical excellence.
Support a Positive Clinical Culture
  • Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, mutual respect, collaboration, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging while supporting a compassionate and patient-centered environment.
What You’ll Need:

$80-90.00 Clinical Hour; $18.00/hr Admin Rate
