Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Idaho State Correctional Center in Kuna, Idaho. You will provide mental health assessments, diagnoses, and treatments under the supervision of a psychiatrist, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a correctional setting.

The role requires an active Idaho license with DEA or the ability to obtain, and recent experience in psychiatric care; corrections experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Idaho license & DEA or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of one year's experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner preferred
• Experience in a correctional or institutional setting preferred

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Idaho State Correctional Center located just outside of Boise in Kuna, Idaho.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Idaho license & DEA or ability to obtain
• Minimum of one years' experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner preferred
• Experience in a correctional or institutional setting preferred

Weekday shifts, days. Ability to work 4 ten-hour of 5 eight-hour shifts.
