Thriveworks seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide in-person and telemedicine care to a diverse client base. The clinician will assess, diagnose, and treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and related disorders, primarily for adults and adolescents.

Applicants must be licensed in the state of practice and hold PMHNP board certification. Responsibilities include developing care plans, prescribing medications as needed, and collaborating with clinic

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification required.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the practicing state.
• Experience with AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
• Licensed PMHNP must be licensed and live in the state where practicing.
• New hires will complete ADHD treatment standards training and certification exam.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations in in-person and telemedicine capacity.
• Treat clients ages 14 and up as needed and prescribe medications.
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
• Complete paperwork and assessment tools for clients.
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines and consult with Regional Clinic Directors.

Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Short Pump, VA.***Clinicians need to be licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing.***Compensation: This is a Fee for Service (W2) position, the range for this position is $65,000-$94,000 per year based on 15-20 clinical hours per week.To maintain safety and best practices for our clinicians and patients via telemedicine, Thriveworks does not push or incentivize the use of stimulant medications; instead, we offer them as an option based on the client’s specific symptoms and diagnosis, with prescribing decisions left to the discretion of the clinician. We do not currently treat substance use disorders, and make every effort to refer out to an in-person provider when symptoms arise that are too severe to be treated via telemedicine only.Thriveworks Nurse Practitioners are expected to provide care to a diverse population of clients with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more.
