Job summary

MDB Health Services is seeking a Part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric care and psychotropic medication management to residents of long-term care facilities in the Fort Worth, TX area.

You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe and monitor medications, and collaborate with facility staff to coordinate patient care while maintaining compliant documentation and supporting families affected by mental health conditions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health nursing.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license valid for practice in Texas.
• AANP/ ANCC and DEA licenses required.
• Familiarity with clinical documentation practices

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with facility staff and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per standards.
• Educate and support patients and families regarding mental health.
