Meadows of Wickenburg is seeking a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric services at MBH Outpatient Center Chicago - Downers Grove, IL. The role involves comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with the treatment team to optimize patient care.

Responsibilities include completing psychiatric evaluations within 72 hours of admission, documenting in progress notes within 24 hours, and participating in team meetings to guide treatment decisions.

Formación

• Graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Licensed with the Arizona Board of Nursing.
• Must have a DEA number.
• CPR and CPI certified.
• Three years experience in chemical dependency or eating disorders preferred.
• Two years experience with patient population served required.
• Meets active staff credentialing.

Responsabilidades

• Completes a Psychiatric Evaluation on all assigned patients within 72 hours of admission (including submitting dictation / documentation).
• Prescribe medication appropriate to the patient within the policies and practices of the Company.
• Attends treatment team meetings and provides consultation regarding medications and psychiatric issues.
• Communicate risks, benefits and side effects of psychiatric medication to patients and documents such education in the progress notes.
• Takes call Monday through Friday for psychiatric issues involving assigned patients.
• Takes weekend call for all patients in accordance with the current call schedule.
