Job summary

University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a Part-Time Program Manager I-H to support the Women and Children Health Initiative (WACHI) RMOMS. This role provides essential coordination and acts as a liaison to ensure timely, quality maternal and child health services in rural communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; two years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in nursing, public health, Health Administration, Social Work, or related field is preferred.
• Equivalent experience in maternal and child health program management may be considered; work experience may not substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site-level WACHI activities related to RMOMS implementation.
• Serve as a liaison between WACHI, RMOMS leadership, and Rural Maternal Network partners.
• Support program planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Coordinate with clinical teams, community partners, and other stakeholders.
• Support data collection, reporting, and documentation for HRSA reporting and program improvement.
• Assist with community engagement, outreach, and partner communication.
• Manage service delivery logistics to support timely and coordinated implementation.
• Align programmatic goals between RMOMS and WACHI as appropriate.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts focused on maternal and child health outcomes.
• Support integration of WACHI within the larger Rural Maternal Network framework.
