Job summary

Orthodox Union, through its Yachad division, seeks a Program Aide to support adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities during programs. You will facilitate group activities and supervise transportation, coordinating with supervisors, parents, and the community liaison to ensure a positive program experience.

Shifts are part-time, with evenings Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and additional weekend slots, requiring care, reliability, and the ability to navigate public transportation and

Responsibilities

• Working with individuals to facilitate engagement during programs.
• Implementing group activities.
• Supervising program transportation of individuals to/from the program in the morning and afternoon.
• Communicating with supervisor as well as parents & community liaison.
• Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and community.
• Ensuring safety of participants during programs.
