Job summary

Hillsborough Community College invites applications for a Respiratory Therapy Instructor to teach hands-on skills in laboratory and clinical settings. You will guide students through demonstrations, supervise practice, and support high-quality patient care education. Required: an associate degree in respiratory care.

Preferred: Florida licensed medical professional or national certification (RRT). Note: open until filled; background check and US E-Verify participation are part of the process;

Job Description:

Works with students in the laboratory or clinical setting teaching the hands-on component of the profession.

Job Duties:

• Performs direct teaching and demonstration of respiratory therapist skills and facilitates hands-on learning, in a laboratory or clinical setting as appropriate to the position.

Required Qualifications:

• An associate's degree in respiratory care.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A State of Florida Licensed Medical Professional OR
• A Medical Professional requiring National Certification.
• National Registry for Respiratory Care (RRT).
