Part Time Production Operator

Pay: $22.50 per hour - day shift

Role Focus: Part Time Production Operator

Shift & Working Hours: This role is part of our Flex Manufacturing Program. It is a part-time role with flexible hours, allowing you to choose your schedule. Typical hours worked per week will usually be between 16-29 hours, but this may vary based on location.

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience in taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This includes operating machinery and equipment, and packaging the final product. Business Unit: Omnium

This role is part of our Omnium business, a loyal partner in the manufacturing of crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices for self and others
• Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts quickly to changes
• Able to multi-task and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment
• Ensures all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during production
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Follows instructions from Leads and Management to accomplish daily work assignments

Required Experience and Skills:

• Must be 18 years or older
• 6+ months of work experience in any industry
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, respectful attitude

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods, possibly with dust and chemicals
• Required to work scheduled shifts, which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime
