Vestis Corporation is seeking a Part‑Time Production Associate to join our industrial laundry team in Rhinelander, WI. No prior experience required, with paid training and a flexible schedule that fits around school or other commitments.

You'll be responsible for safe, expeditious handling of merchandise, equipment cleaning, and assisting with various production tasks. The role may involve standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Working knowledge on use of sewing equipment, proper sewing techniques, thermo-patching equipment, and other tools used in repair of textile material.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Cleans equipment, water and lint traps, performs blows down ironer, dryer, and tunnel.
• Loads carts, obtains supplies, moves boxes, cleans areas of the plant, stocks with material supplies, and disposes of garbage.
• Operates forklift if necessary.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment and follows production best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Cleans equipment, water and lint traps, performs blows down ironer, dryer, and tunnel.
• Performs various production expedite activities in various areas to include loading carts, obtaining supplies, moving boxes, cleaning areas of the plant, maintaining restroom facilities and stocking with material supplies, and emptying garbage containers into marked trash bins.
• Operates forklift if necessary.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Environment / Safety Requirements

• Work is performed in a warehouse setting and regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold conditions as well as dust and noise.
• Work is based on a shift schedule, and may include weekends.
• Overtime required as needed.
