Job summary

Mackenthun's Fine Foods is seeking a friendly Demonstrator to educate customers about products and samples in our store. The role emphasizes product promotion, positive service, and clear communication, with weekend, mid-morning to early-evening shifts, up to 10 hours per week.

You'll engage customers, answer questions, and help maintain a clean, safe demonstration area while promoting Mackenthun’s Exceptional Experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Positive attitude and customer-first service approach.
• Strong communication with reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Interest in food products.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a cheerful, friendly manner.
• Promote and demonstrate store products.
• Educate customers on product features, qualities, and benefits.
• Answer customer inquiries about products and services.
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized demonstration station.
• Ensure samples are fresh, properly stored, and safe.
• Clean up the demo area and follow sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor product quality and safety throughout demonstrations.
• Promote Mackenthun’s Exceptional Experience to customers.
